Project overview
This assignment assessed the feasibility of a rural resilience initiative focused on access to safe water, sanitation, hygiene, livelihoods, and social structures in Machakos County.
SAFE Africa's role
SAFE Africa conducted a mixed-methods feasibility study examining the social, economic, technical, legal, and operational relevance of the proposed project, while also assessing institutional capacity and alignment with BMZ requirements and OECD DAC criteria.
Scale and results
The study generated evidence to inform project design, implementation planning, and investment decisions for a resilience-focused program in semi-arid rural communities.
